O.L. Design

I haven’t been blogging in a while (no shit, Sherlock). It has to do with lots of things, apart from me being lazy. The summer has gone by real fast (as usual), and there’s been many things happening, most of which was quite emotionally exhausting.

Two weeks ago, I found myself back at the university again. It’s great! I attend a program called “Systemvetenskap” in swedish, should translate to something like “System theory”, and it’s mainly about conceptionalizing, constructing and knowing information-technology systems. We haven’t done much yet, but it seems really interesting, and the location is great. It’s a brand new building, WiFi hotspots all over it, nice wide open areas, balconies where you can sit and work etc etc. Can’t wait to start coding those systems they’re talking about! ;)

Musically, nothing much is happening. As usual, the LOMID (Lack-Of-Musical-Inspiration-Disorder) has taken its grip around my brain, emptying it of all traces of will to make music. But fear not. Instead, I’ve started to lend my vocal abilities to other producers, and it has resulted in some nice co-productions, and I continue to work with many of them. Hopefully, some new juicy music will be available here soon.

And finally, what is an update at lonnroth.info without some blabber about web design? I’ve been working a lot (that’s A LOT) on different designs, concepts and layouts for this site during the last six months, but none of them have made it to the public yet. I probably have 10 to 15 different versions of a new lonnroth.info on my computer, so no lack of inspiration there. I’m just now making the finishing touches on the new lonnroth.info, named Musical Imagery. Expect it online soon. And yes, it will happen this time.

UPDATE: The new site version will NOT be called “Musical Imagery”. I guess I’d had a little too much of something when I wrote the above content.
